Coarse Fishing in Scotland

Check out the following link for a comprehensive guide to coarse fishing in Scotland, including Pike venues.

When fly fishing for Pike in Scotland please seek permission to fish and check very carefully that those giving permission are able to do so and also that they understand the type of fishing involved.
Most of the waters on the web site are poor Salmon waters (or Salmon are not present) and that is why Pike Fishing is popular on them with the exception perhaps of Loch Ness.
Any that are good waters require a permit. Details of these are on the web site.
It would be deemed good manners if you did not fly fish on Sundays. One very important thing to remember is that if you fished a popular Salmon river with the fly without permission you would be definitely accused of poaching and "removed"
